Our first of many random acts of pixie dust by Disney came when my family of 4 went on one of the backstage tours of Disney. At the beginning of the tour, we were told it was canceled and we were asked if we would instead join in an all important task of finding Captain Hook’s golden hook which had been stolen by Peter Pan. Of course this WAS our tour, but our young kids didn’t know that! We went all over the Magic Kingdom looking for the hook and ended up in Frontier Land finding Peter Pan. Peter Pan then took us on the It’s A Small World Ride via the back door. All the way there however, Peter Pan carried my young son piggy pick style. My son has never forgotten that trip, or that ride upon Peter Pan’s back. My husband and I are forever grateful the love for Disney rubbed off on our kids. -Rachel McCain
